AI Chess
Challenge yourself in a classic game of chess against an intelligent AI opponent. Select from three difficulty levels - Easy, Medium, or Hard. The game features a beautiful board, legal move validation, piece highlighting, and full chess rules including castling, en passant, and pawn promotion.
How to Play
How to Play:
- Select your difficulty level (Easy, Medium, or Hard)
- Click on a piece to select it
- Click on a highlighted square to move the piece
- Capture opponent pieces by moving to their square
- Checkmate the opponent's king to win
Game Rules:
- Each piece moves according to standard chess rules
- You must move out of check if your king is threatened
- Pawns promote to queens when reaching the opposite end
- Special moves: Castling and En Passant are supported
Difficulty Levels:
- Easy: AI makes random legal moves
- Medium: AI thinks 1-2 moves ahead
- Hard: AI thinks 3+ moves ahead with advanced strategy
Tips:
- Control the center of the board early
- Develop your pieces (knights and bishops) early
- Protect your king with castling
- Think several moves ahead
- Watch for tactical opportunities like forks and pins
